Chi-Cultivation

Chi Cultivation: The Path of Internal Power

Chi Cultivation represents the martial and meditative approach to supernatural power in SystemRPG - the development of internal life force through physical discipline, breath control, and spiritual harmony. Practitioners understand that the body itself is a crucible for refining Aether into personal power.

Core Philosophy

The Unity of Body, Mind, and Spirit

Chi cultivators believe that true power comes from harmonizing all aspects of the self. Through rigorous physical training, meditative practice, and philosophical understanding, they transform their bodies into vessels capable of generating, storing, and channeling vast amounts of life energy.

The Cultivation Path

Foundation → Circulation → Refinement → Transcendence

The journey of Chi Cultivation involves:

  1. Foundation Building: Strengthening the body and opening meridians
  2. Energy Circulation: Learning to move chi through internal channels
  3. Core Formation: Condensing chi into increasingly pure forms
  4. Realm Breaking: Transcending limitations to reach new heights

Story Elements

Chi Cultivation represents the path of internal development, where power is earned through discipline, understanding, and harmony with universal forces. In the post-System world, those who master their internal energy demonstrate that true strength comes not from external sources but from refining the self into a vessel capable of channeling infinite power.

Cultivation's Time Crunch

Stagnation begins at 20% of your lifespan, and slows your advancement the more it sets in, until you break through the Mortal Realm. Stagnation percentage is added to the cost to increase all Spirit Stats.
Calcification stops your advancement in cultivation at 30% of your lifespan, if you have not broken through the Mortal Realm before then. Calcification prevents further growth of your Karma stat. Only reincarnation or Divine Intervention can change your Fate after Calcification sets in.
